We know travelling alone can be scary and overwhelming, especially if you’re new to it. That’s why we’ve created budget-friendly group trips. We want to offer unforgettable experiences for less than what the “big” companies charge. We’ve both been travelling on a budget for the last 7 years, and we make sure that every penny counts. So, if there’s anyone that knows how to live their best life on a budget, then that’s us! This trip is perfect for you if you want to be sociable, have fun and make lots of new friends! Our trips cover your accommodation, selected meals, internal transport, and lots of fun activities and excursions. You can either join our trips alone, or bring along friends with you. What’s included.

Accomodation

Joining our group trips means your accommodation is covered. So spend less time worrying, and more time exploring. We have selected 3-4* hotels that we will be staying in. Note that as this is a group trip, if you’re travelling solo that means you will be randomly allocated a shared room with a group trip traveller. You have the option to choose to have your own room at an extra cost that varies depending on location and hotel.

Shared rooms consist of two single beds and a shared bathroom. These are randomly allocated. If you‘re travelling with a friend and want to share a room together, please email us at info@justbeyondadventures.com at the time of your booking for us to try organise this for you.

Selected Meals

All breakfasts (11) are included in the group trip provided by the hotels. We also provide a welcome dinner and a leaving dinner. Other meals throughout the day are to be provided by yourself. The average cost of a meal is around £7-£10. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking. We do also ask all guests to fill in a medical form before the trip.

Internal Transport

Your transport to and from the airport are included, where you will be met in arrivals by your dedicated driver. Transport throughout the trip such as the metro and busses are provided by yourself, which is easily accessible and cheap. Transport on excursions you take part in will be included. Feel free to make the most of public transport on your free days, where we’ll be more than happy to guide and help you.

Excursions & Activities

Excursions are included in the total price of the group trips. Activities such as visiting public viewing areas and cafes are not included in the price. There may be an option to add on additional excursions at an extra cost, but this will be specified on the trip you book.

How to book with us

  • Choose your trip date

    All you need to do is select the trip you want to join and read the important information about the trip.

  • Secure your spot with a deposit

    Once you have selected the trip you want to join, all you need to do is pay your deposit and keep an eye on your emails for booking confirmation and a final payment invoice via email.

  • Pack your bags!

    Get packing your bags as you’ll soon be joining us! We will keep in contact with you up until the trip date on important information you may need.

FAQ

Do I need a visa?

Most travellers can enter South Korea and Japan visa-free for short stays (up to 90 days), but please check your country’s requirements well in advance.

Where are we staying?

We stay in comfortable, centrally located hotels where possible — you’ll receive your full itinerary and hotel list in your welcome pack. We can’t always guarantee that we’ll be staying in the hotels we advertise as they’re subject to availability.

How do I get to and from the airport?

Our team will meet you at the arrival hall — look for the Just Beyond Adventures sign! Airport transfers are included. We can’t always guarantee a Just Beyond Adventures rep can meet you at the airport, however do not worry as your transport will be organised for you when you land.

How much cash should I bring?

We can’t suggest how much to bring as everyone’s spending habits are different. ATMs are widely available, but we recommend bringing some currency for small purchases. Most places take card payments, however smaller venders may only take cash.

Do I need a SIM-Card?

Wi-Fi is common, but you may want a local SIM card or pocket Wi-Fi for convenience. You can purchase E-SIMs online or you can buy them in the arrivals hall once you land. We are happy to recommend our favourite providers.

Who do I contact in an emergency?

You’ll get a 24/7 emergency contact number in your final itinerary email.

How does payment work?

When you book a trip with us, you will initially pay the deposit. Once you have paid, you will receive a confirmation of your payment.

We will then send out an invoice via email with the remaining amount for the trip. Please note, the final balance must be paid 60 days before travel.
